 Carolyn
Frieden started her career in travel in 1981 has been
active in the travel business ever since.
She thrives on organization and details. Leisure travel
is her specialty. If you would like to plan a trip to
Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico or Hawaii, she will be
happy to work with you to plan that special get away.
She also has a passion for honeymoons and destination
weddings. She is a travel specialist for Aruba, St
Kitts, Jamaica, Ireland and Princess Cruises. She has
traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii,
and Europe.

Cristy Chitty
 As
a native of Northwest Arkansas, Cristy has an
established rapport within the community and her 15
years experience in the travel industry have afforded
her an opportunity to help many travelers realize their
greatest expectations. You will appreciate her
enthusiasm and personal service while planning your
perfect travel adventure.
Cristy has traveled extensively throughout the United
States, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, the Bahamas,
Costa Rica, and Europe. Cristy has earned her
destination specialist certification for Mexico and the
Caribbean. Her tremendous determination to make your
travel dreams come true will make you aware of her
tasteful eye for exceptional accommodations and a
complete understanding of what will complete a cherished
journey for you and your travel companions.

Julie Mitchell
 Julie
is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a
degree in Advertising/Public Relations. Julie has been
with Design Travel for over 22 years, and Manages Design
Travel. She has accumulated 28 years of experience in
the travel industry and has traveled to over 43
countries.
Julie is a certified travel consultant. Her
CTC degree prerequisites were five or more years of
industry experience and completion of five part college
level management courses emphasizing marketing,
personnel , selling and accounting. Julie has also
earned her destination specialist degree for the
Caribbean and Europe.
She has completed specialized
courses for Switzerland, Ireland, Italy and Australia
and is passionate about selling these destinations.
Julie has received recognitions and membership from the
'40 under 40 organization and the National Association
of Professional Women.
Julie loves a good challenge and lives vicariously
through her clients. Julie has traveled extensively
throughout the US, Mexico, Australia, Caribbean,
Thailand, Hong Kong and Europe. She is passionate about
service before, during and after the sale.

Lisa Jostad
 Lisa
is a new consultant to the Design Travel team. After
raising a family, she is eager to return to the
workforce in an industry that has fascinated her for
years. Lisa's previous experience in customer service,
attention to detail in meeting client's needs and love
of travel make her excited for this new adventure.
The Mayan Riviera and
Caribbean are a few of Lisa's favorite places to visit.
She will be happy to help you plan that perfect
honeymoon, anniversary trip or family vacation.
Lisa's travels include
Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, France, Ireland, Norway,
Scotland and Italy.

Paty Birchfield
 Paty
has been an enthusiastic member of the Design Travel
team since 2000 wearing many hats – marketing,
administrative, receptionist, and accounting. She enjoys
assisting others so their travel experience is a
relaxing one at Design Travel. Paty and her husband
spend their free time traveling. On weekends you will
find them entertaining their friends and families.

Doug Rosa
 Doug
Rosa came to Design Travel with extensive customer
service experience stemming from corporate sales and
marketing for many years. After relocating to St George,
UT in 2006, Doug managed a local travel agency for 3
years. In late 2009 Doug joined Design Travel as an
outside sale consultant. He provides concierge services
to his clients and specializes in cruises, tours and
business incentive groups.
Doug has completed specialized courses
for various cruise lines, Australia Destinations
Specialist, South Pacific, Hawaii, as well as New
Zealand. He has received awards from Princess Cruise
Lines/Commodore Status, Australian Specialist, as well
as his CLIA Accredited Cruise Counselor designation. He
has traveled to Hawaii, South Pacific, Australia, New
Zealand, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean as well as the US.

Thanks for the card and all
of your help. Cosmos was great! It was so relaxing to
get away for 16 days. I made several new friends from
around the world and got invited to India, Pennsylvania
and New York! Europe was in fall and is beautiful. The
leaves had just turned and the temperature was great.
Our guide was from Amsterdam and spoke seven languages!
She was great! Where shall I go next?
